What is the Real Value IGA Caribbean Healthy Challenge?
We’re giving you the opportunity to get in shape and maintain high fitness levels by encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle. Grab one of our Coca-Cola Pedometers and count the number of steps you take. The more steps, the higher the chance of being a winner!
How do I get involved?
All you have to do is make a purchase of $75 or more at Real Value IGA, including the following:
1 Coke Zero
1 of either Nestle Honey Nut Cheerios, Nestle Gold Cereal, Nestle Corn Flakes, Nestle Coffee Mate, Nestle Milo, Nestle Omega Milk, Nestle Svelty Milk, Nestle Orchard No Added Sugar Orange Juice, Nestle Supligen
1 IGA item of your choice
Once you’ve done this, visit our special Healthy Challenge booth located outside the Supermarket to receive your Coca-Cola Pedometer. Clip it to your hip, and start counting your steps!
Ok, I have my Pedometer, now what?
At your convenience, you can return to the Healthy Challenge booth to have your steps recorded (we recommend once a week). Once your total steps reach 40,000, you will be entered into the Weekly Draw for that week. In addition, you will also qualify to be entered into the Grand Prize Draw at the end of the promotion. The more times you achieve 40,000 steps, the more entries you gain in the Grand Prize Draw!
Wow, 40,000 sounds like a lot!
Not really. Just make sure you keep your Pedometer on you right throughout the day. Walking, exercising, working out at the Gym, and playing sports will help to significantly increase the number of steps! Also, every Wednesday at Morne Rouge playing field, the SSU Fitness Club will hold ‘Dancercise’ sessions open to the general public from 5:00 to 6:30!
The IGA Caribbean Healthy Challenge runs from June 6th to July 16th 2011.
